Information about Nebula 5mg Tablet

Uses / Indications: Nebula 5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.

    Product composition:
  • Nebivolol (5mg)
Interactions / Warnings: Taking Nebivolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
    Pregnancy interaction:
  • Nebula 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
    Expert advice:
  • Nebula helps reduce blood pressure and lower heart rate. Do not miss doses. In case you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible up to 8 hrs before next dose. Don’t double the dose. Stopping Nebula suddenly can cause your blood pressure to rise suddenly, which increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. You may feel dizzy during the initial few days. You may also have fatigue and headaches. Notify your doctor if these symptoms persist for long. Can hide symptoms of low blood sugar if you're diabetic. If you take insulin or other anti-diabetic medications, you may have to check your blood sugar level more closely. Know how to check pulse daily and blood pressure (BP) twice a week, and teach your family as well. Notify your doctor if slow pulse, troubled breathing, wheezing, cold hands and feet, dizziness, light-headedness, confusion, depression.

  • Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nebula 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

  • Nebula 5mg Tablet is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart. It works by slowing down the heart rate and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.

  • What is Nebula and what is it used for? : Nebula is a beta-blocker and it is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and chronic heart failure in patients aged 70 years or older.|How does Nebula work? : Nebula works by blocking the action of certain chemical messengers on the blood vessels and heart which relaxes the blood vessels and slows the heart rate. This leads to a decreased blood pressure and an improved blood flow. The reduced blood pressure makes it easier for a weak heart to pump blood at a slower rate, making it useful in heart failure also.|Is Nebula a cardioselective beta blocker? : Nebula is a cardioselective beta blocker, which acts on the beta receptors present in the heart only.|Is Nebula better than bisoprolol? : Nebula and bisoprolol belong to the same class of medicines beta blockers with similar action, but their effect may vary upon individual response. Always follow doctor's advice regarding its use. Both bisoprolol and Nebula belong to the same category of medications called beta-blockers. This could also cause higher chances of central nervous system effects such as lethargy, confusion, and depression.|Does Nebula increase testosterone? : Nebula has not been reported to cause an increase in testosterone levels.
